Rustic Weddings at Belgenny Farm: Charming Wedding Venue Near Sydney

Say “I do” framed by vineyards and scenic rolling hills, ease into the evening with pre-dinner drinks and canapes served at sunset under the festoon lights of the Dovecote Lawn. At dusk your guests are greeted by a canopy of twinkling fairy lights as the doors open to The Granary, and an evening like no other begins; this is the beginning of your happily ever after at Belgenny Farm.  Rich in history dated back to 1805 with structures built in the 1800s the grounds are complete with rustic charm and character with fantastic photo backdrops to make lovely memories lasting a lifetime. Belgenny Farm boasts the earliest collection of colonial farm buildings in Australia and is the ultimate event destination featuring rustic barns, manicured lawns and sweeping views over Sydney’s Macarthur Region.
Built in 1889, the Homestead overlooks an expansive, manicured garden where we’ll be holding family fun activities on the lawn throughout the day. The whole family is welcome to wander around the native garden that surrounds Echidna Dam and learn about the property’s history in the interpretation centre. For lunch, enjoy a generous traditional Sunday Roast banquet followed by beautiful desserts.

Belgenny Farm’s spaces include:
  • The Granary (built in 1890) as a corn and implement shed has been converted into a stylish country venue and is the perfect canvas for you to add your personal touch, to create a fabulous celebration for up to 180 guests seated or 300 guests for a cocktail style event. Venue exclusivity provides an intimate setting to share those special moments with your family and friends.
  • The Dovecote lawn boasts a backdrop of rolling hills and vineyards creating the perfect spot for ceremonies followed by music and lawn games.
  • The Creamery constructed in 1820 opposite the 200-year-old Oak Tree has been converted into a museum housing artifacts from the Macarthur history. Guided Tours can be booked as a unique activity for your guests.
  • The shearing shed, blacksmith shed and stables, teamed with the historic machinery on the grounds, are a photographer’s playground, and the signage allows your guests to embark on a self-guided walking tour enriched in history.
