Melbourne Museum – Celeste & Kire

It’s not hard to see, when looking at Celeste & Kire, just how perfect they are for each other. They first met at a fitness boot camp and that was the start of their effortless love affair.

From the outset Celeste & Kire wanted a laid back wedding that was more of a party than a formal affair. Not only for themselves but also for their nearest and dearest and that is exactly what they pulled together.

From Celeste’s simple yet elegant Rue De Seine gown to her charming bouquet and the couple’s unique wedding rings, it was clear that this would not be any “run of the mill” wedding. The couple opted not to have a bridal party in order to keep the day very informal.

After a short, yet moving ceremony at the North Terrace, Melbourne Museum the couple paraded down the aisle grinning from ear to ear, whilst snapping selfies of their newly married selves. When asked what her favourite part of her day was Celeste replied “Taking the hand of my Husband and leading him through our crowd of guests. Here we sat for only five minutes to chat & embrace”.

The happy couple then headed off to take some photos with the wonderful Woodrow from Woodrow Wilson Photography. Woodrow ensured that they got as many photos with the stunning architectural Museum as the back drop as possible, also finding many secluded spots in the Carlton Gardens for their beautiful shots.

From the second that their guests got to the reception they were flooded with delicious canapés and the temptation of a dessert buffet put together by some of the most sought after dessert queens in the business.

Celeste & Kire truly filled their brief of a huge laid back party and the dancing and laughing stretched well into the night. Congratulations to this incredible couple and we wish you all the best in your next big adventure together.
