Cocktail Recipe
Peter’s Margarita
///// Shake, Shake, Shake
Get your next party started with this cocktail creation from PRC’s mixologists. And once you’ve mastered this mix, why not try a few seasonal variations – add blood orange juice along with the lime, experiment with different salts or even a roasted red capsicum brings an unusual flavour.
Ingredients
– 45ml tequila, 100% agave is preferable
– 30ml lime juice, freshly squeezed
– 30ml triple sec or Cointreau
– Salt
– Ice
Process
Line half the rim of a margarita glass with lime and roll it in salt.
Put the ice into a cocktail shaker. Add in the tequila, lime juice and triple sec then secure the lid and shake vigorously. Strain the mix into the glass, leaving behind the ice in the shaker. This recipe works roughly on a 3:2:1 ratio, so you can change the quantities using whatever measuring spoons or cups you have available if you’re making multiple drinks.
